Rotary Ride for Research

The Rotary Ride for Research is a six day event with a 3 day/night option available.

The ride is suitable for anyone 18 – 90 who likes great fun and exercise, as well as a challenge in the great outdoors.

Here’s your chance to be part of this great cycling event! In our past rides the cyclists have dealt with the extremes of weather, gentle undulations, galling winds and punctures from bindi’s, but they managed to build up strength and team spirit to continue for the main cause, Riding For Medical Research (through Australian Rotary Health), and discovered they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Although a Rotary Project you do not have to be associated with Rotary to join in the ride, anyone can join in!

If you feel that you can’t ride but still want to join in, we always need people to be part of the support crews for each team, so we have a position on the ride for everyone.

Duration

Six days/5 nights. Route Distance: approx. 600km riding distance will vary group to group, person to person. A 3 day/night option is available, finishing or starting in Albury.
