Ripon Rotary Club is pleased to be organising a fourth Ripon Rotary Bike Ride, which is scheduled to take place on 09 May 2020. We are so grateful to those who have supported us over the past three years and raised £82,000 - all of which went to support the chosen charities.
The 100k circular route remains the same and will take you through beautiful North Yorkshire villages along roads and country lanes. You’ll start and finish at Bishop Monkton Village Hall and there are regular water and refreshment stops every 17k, with a lunch stop at Sheriff Hutton Village Hall (sandwich, fruit, chocolate and drinks). You will return to a warm welcome back at Bishop Monkton where you can enjoy our renowned tea and cakes!
We are grateful to Chevin Cycles who will again be providing technical support, and our friends from St Johns Ambulance will be on hand should there be any first aid needs.
The aim of the bike ride is to continue in raising much needed funds for charities including Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Saint Michael's Hospice, Dementia Forward, Scleroderma Research and other charities supported by Ripon Rotary Club.
This is a sponsored charity ride so please ask family and friends to sponsor you generously to make a real difference!
