The Ride to the Rock is a cycling event sponsored by The Pickens Rotary Club. Historic Pickens, South Carolina is a beautiful town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The ride begins in Pickens and challenges riders with 3 routes to choose from:
40k*, 60K, and 100K rides.
The 2017 rides will be on September 16, 2017 and leave 114 W Main Street, Pickens SC and travel north to Highway 11 with beautiful views of Table Rock Mountain. The Metric Century also climbs Caesars Head before returning to Pickens. The rides are fully supported with a SAG vehicle and rest stops. Day of ride registration begins at 8am and the ride will start at 9am.
This year we will have a beer garden with live music. All riders will receive a complimentary post ride meal from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm
A complimentary t-shirt will be included for all pre-registered riders.
*The 40k ride does not go all the way to Table Rock.
