The Rotary Club of New Smyrna Beach will be holding it's 4th annual Ride to End Polio on November 23 at 9 am.. The ride again will start at Rotary Park on Park Ave in Edgewater and take place on a section of the Rails to Trails system that runs 52 miles from Edgewater to Deltona and a spur to Titusville. In ten years the Ride To End Polio, started by the Tucson Rotary Club and District 550 has raised over $53 million, all of which has been invested in the fight to eradicate polio world wide. The Rotary Club of New Smyrna Beach has been presented two banner awards from District 6970 for being 2nd in the District in 2018, for the amout of donations to the Foundation Polio Plus Fund. I would like to challenge the Club this year to help us be number 1.
Watch the Rotary Club of New Smyrna Beach web page for more information. And...thanks for your participation.
